ASFPM 2026 National Conference Welcome Fest Sponsor (31 May 2026)

The Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) will be holding its 50th annual national conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 31 – June 4, 2026. This conference is the premier flood risk reduction conference in the nation, with more than 200 speakers and 1,800 participants in attendance.

The Wisconsin Association for Floodplain, Stormwater, & Coastal Management (WAFSCM) is the Host Chapter for the conference and is coordinating the Welcome Fest on the evening of Sunday, May 31st at the Baird Center. The Welcome Fest is the kickoff event for the annual conference where colleagues can gather and reconnect. To celebrate Milwaukee and Wisconsin, we have created a tailgate theme for the event. Food, beverages, music, and tailgate games will be provided.

We would like to make your organization a part of this Welcome Fest through your sponsorship of the event. Your support will assist in enabling us to provide an enjoyable evening of entertainment for our attendees.

ASFPM 2026 Chapters 5K Run/Walk (31 May 2026)

The Wisconsin Association for Floodplain, Stormwater, & Coastal Management (WAFSCM) is excited to announce the annual Running of the Chapters 5K run/walk event at this year’s ASFPM National Conference. The race will be held on Wednesday June 3, 2026 at Veterans Park along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the spirit of our upper midwestern politeness, we are calling this year's race "Ope! (lemme just squeeze right past ya there) 5k", or simply, "The Ope!"

As in past years, the 5K event is sponsored by the ASFPM state chapters and we are asking for your chapter to help sponsor this year’s event. For sponsorships of $300 or greater, we will include your chapter logo on the race t-shirt and conference graphics. If your chapter is interested in sponsoring the event, please see below or email Kurt for further information. You do not need to register as a participant to donate.
